1 In some situations, it may be necessary to display, for example, a manual or help document to the user on the desktop. With the software module **shared-file**, you have the option to distribute any files to devices and make them available via the desktop or the start menu.

17 After installation, create a **New Connection** via **Connections & Applications** -> **Shared File**.
18 Assign a connection name (display name on desktop/start menu) and select the file to be distributed.
